Dani Dyer lands lead role in British gangster film

17 year old Dani Dyer, daughter of actor Danny Dyer, has landed her first lead role in a British gangster movie called We Still Kill The Old Way.

Dani (represented by Sainou) previously featured in British crime drama, Vendetta alongside her father Danny (currently playing Mick Carter in Eastenders).

In We Still Kill The Old Way, described as "a blood-spattered urban revenge movie", Dani will play Lauren, a young girl who is rescued from an attempted assault by a vicious postcode gang by retired gangster Charlie Archer.

Producer Jonathan Sothcott said: "Having known Dani since she was a kid I have seen her grow into a remarkable young actress. She has a very natural, honest quality and really impressed us on Vendetta. I have no doubt she has what it takes to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a bona fide film star and I’m really excited to give her her first leading role.”

We Still Kill The Old Way is produced by Richwater Films and directed by Sacha Bennett, and starts shooting tomorrow (Monday 5th May 2014).
