Disney's Cinderella finds its ugly sisters

Two more young British actresses have been cast alongside Lily James in Disney's upcoming live-action interpretation of Cinderella.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, as previously announced Lily James takes the title role of Cinderella, with Cate Blanchett as the Wicked Stepmother and Game of Thrones star Richard Madden cast as The Prince.

Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera are set to play the two mean stepsisters, Drisella and Anastasia, daughters of Lady Tremain (Cate Blanchett).

Holly (represented by Troika)  can currently be seen playing Lucrezia Borgia in Neil Jordan’s TV series The Borgias, and she recently starred as Estella in the feature film adaptation of Great Expectations.

27 year old Sophie McShera from Leeds (represented by Curtis Brown) played Ros in Waterloo Road before going on to appear alongside Lily James in Downton Abbey, and can currently be seen on TV in ITV sitcom The Job Lot.

Cinderella is due to start shooting in the UK in the autumn.
