Open audition for Series 2 of Channel 4's Top Boy

In a one off open call for series two of the hit Channel 4 drama Top Boy, the casting team will be looking for the following:

BLACK / MIXED RACE / ASIAN / NON WHITE GIRLS AND BOYS

BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13 AND 16.
No acting experience necessary.

Please do not attend the casting if you do not fit the above description as you will be turned away. No emails or tel calls, simply turn up on the day.

DATE:           SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 2012
TIME:            12 PM – 5 PM. 
VENUE:        HOXTON HALL, 130 HOXTON STREET, N1 6SH

  13. Yes, I just went an there was a riot I had to run for my life, people where throwing fireworks it was gangs or somet, they cancelled the auditions and loads of the people trying out were stuck inside coz of da police I didn't even get to audition

  14. Just left the supposed audition in Hoxton with a disappointed daughter... Will my girl and the countless other children get another opportunity????

  15. All the people that where inside got auditions and there was 200 of us so I don't think there will be anymore auditions cause they only want 2 girls and 2 boys

  16. I can't believe how irresponsibly organised the whole thing was. My daughter and I were almost crushed in the stampede. We had to call an ambulance for a woman who had a heart problem. Most auditions require minors to be accompanied by adults. There were no stewards or security at hand. I just called Hoxton Hall and they refuse ti take responsibility and claim that Channel 4 lied to them and that they had no idea that it was an open casting. I Will be complaining to Channel 4 and who put everyone at risk and brought the reutation of young black people into disrepute.
