Daniel Radcliffe to star in Horns

Daniel Radcliffe is set to star in a supernatural thriller called Horns from Red Granite Pictures, to be directed by Alexandre Aja.

Horns is based on the best-selling cult novel by Joe Hill and has been adapted by 'In Treatment's Keith Bunin.

Daniel will play Ig Perrish, the prime suspect in the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend. Hung over from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his head. Their power drives people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses - an effective tool in his quest to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend's death and for exacting revenge.

“After reading Joe Hill's cult book, I couldn't resist temptation to dive into the devilish underworld and reinvent a universal myth," director Aja said. "Horns is a wild ride of sin and crime, with a love story in its heart."

Daniel Radcliffe recently starred in the supernatural thriller The Woman In Black.

Filming is set to begin this autumn, Shia LaBeouf was previously attached to the role.
