Screen International UK Stars of Tomorrow 2012

Congratulations to some fantastic young British actors announced today as Screen International Stars of Tomorrow 2012, including some Screenterrier favourites:

23 year old Karla Crome (represented by Troika) who's currently on our screens playing Riley in Sky's Hit and Miss, and who Screenterrier revealed as a new Misfit in the up-coming 4th series of the award-winning E4 series.

Letitia Wright

19 year old Letitia Wright (represented by Identity Agency Group), who starred in Channel 4's Top Boy and My Brother The Devil which received rave reviews after it's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The star of the film James Floyd (represented by CAM)  is also included (and makes the Screen International cover) along with Ashley Thomas (represented by Independent Talent).

George Mackay

20 year old George Mackay (represented by Gordon and French), who's steadily built up a string of feature film credits and is about to start filming alongside Saoirse Ronan on How I Live Now.

Also just cast in How I Live Now, is the youngest actor on the list, 16 year old Tom Holland (represented by Curtis Brown), the son of comedian Dominic Holland, who played Billy Elliot in the West End and stars in J.A Bayona's The Impossible.

Also hailed as Stars of Tomorrow are two young actors from Manchester, Elliott Tittensor (represented by Curtis Brown) and Nico Mirallegro (represented by The Rights House) who will star together in the up-coming Stone Roses movie Spike Island. Nico is also about to start filming on a new E4 teen drama My Fat Mad Teenage Diary.

The other rising stars on the list are Samantha Barks (currently filming Les Miserables), Paul Brannigan (a newcomer who stars in Ken Loach's The Angel's Share), Lenora Crichlow (star of Being Human and the just released feature Fast Girls), Iain de Caestecker (star of The Fades and Young James), Daniel Rigby (who won a BAFTA for his portrayal of Eric Morecambe in Eric and Ernie), Trystan Gravelle, Tom Harries, Aiysha Hart and Yusra Warsama.
