Imogen Poots will star alongside Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette and Emile Hirsch in A Long Way Down, an adaptation of Nick Hornby’s bestselling novel.
22 year old Imogen (represented by Independent Talent) has just filmed on The King of Soho alongside Steve Coogan, and has a number of films coming out this year including British indie Comes A Bright Day.
A Long Way Down is about four people who meet on New Year's Eve, all having gone to the top of a tall building with the intention of killing themselves.
The script has been written by the multi-talented Jack Thorne (How I Live Now, The Scouting Book For Boys, Skins, The Fades).
The film is due to start shooting in London on 3rd September for eight weeks.
