LOOKING FOR ROMEO ...
The filmmakers behind the forthcoming Shakespeare 4 Kidz musical production of Romeo and Juliet, which is due to start shooting in the UK in July, have announced an Open Casting Session to take place in London on Monday 16th April. The casting team is looking for a young man in his late teens to early 20s to play Romeo.
DATE: Monday 16th April 2012
VENUE: The RADA Studios (formerly The Drill Hall), Chenies Street, London, WC1E 7EX.
TIME: From 10.30am - 5.00pm
AUDITIONEES will be required to ACT/READ* two scenes from the screenplay and to SING 32 bars of a MUSICAL THEATRE BALLAD.(* It's always best to LEARN the lines)

MUSIC: Please bring your sheet music with you for our pianist. You will be required to sing against the piano; no unaccompanied singing; no backing tracks please.
CV/PHOTO: Please bring an up-to-date CV and a recent 10x8 B/W photo
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of an Open Casting Call, please be prepared to wait. You will be given a number on your arrival. If you are not present when your number is called you may have to wait until later in the day. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a time slot. Succesful auditionees will be asked to attend a second round recall at a later date.
