Good Vibrations

Another music pic is in the works, with the roots of the Northern Ireland punk scene getting the big screen treatment in Good Vibrations which will tell the story of Terri Hooley, Belfast’s godfather of punk.

Richard Dormer will play Hooley who founded the Good Vibrations record label from the ground up as a way to showcase punk musicians from Northern Ireland to the rest of the United Kingdom. His signings included The Undertones.

Misfits star Robert Sheehan, who recently starred in another music-influenced feature Killing Bono, and currently be seen in indie feature Suicide Kids, is also attached to the film along with Michael Fassbender and Steve Coogan.

Filming is due to start in Belfast in August.
