Urban Musical feature film open casting - UPDATED!

Casting director Amy Hubbard is searching for a talented female singer aged 16 - 21 years to star in an URBAN MUSICAL.

You must have a British accent, can be any ethnicity, streetwise and attractive.

PLEASE PREPARE 2 verses or 1 verse & a chorus from a song of your own choosing (unaccompanied).

The film is about 'Jamie' she is a young offender who forms a GOSPEL CHOIR to escape her destructive life in London.

Jamie is a fantastic and exceptional singer with a strong and interesting look. She can come from any region but must be street - a tough working class girl. She is an offender but has a vulnerability which we see despite the tough side of her. She does not have to be a trained actress or singer she just should have it all. She does time in prison and writes her own songs, and her songs and lyrics are woven through the story. She joins a Gospel choir and then ends up performing and singing her own stuff with a following.

The OPEN CASTING is being held from 9:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday 2nd October at the American Church 79A, Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 4TD
