Elfie Hopkins and the Gammons

Scheduled to begin shooting in Wales this April is Elfie Hopkins and the Gammons billed as the first British 3D horror film. The film is about Elfie, a self styled detective in a rural village, whose investigations into her neighbours prove a source of annoyance, until the arrival of the suspicious Gammons family.

24 year old Jaime Winstone (represented by CAM) takes the title role of the teenage detective Elfie.

Aneurin Barnard (represented by Ken McReddie), fresh from winning an Olivier for his performance in the teen musical Spring Awakening, will play Dylan.

Newcomer Will Payne (represented by Waring and McKenna) is attached to play Elliot Gammons.

24 year old Kimberley Nixon (also Ken McReddie),who stars alongside Rupert Grint and Robert Sheehan in the yet to be released Cherrybomb, will take the role of Pippa in the film.

Director Ryan Andrews describes the film as a “quirky horror and an eclectic mix of comic book characters, British pop culture and fantasy setting in an unusual and twisted world”.
