Misfits star Robert Sheehan

Heading for the big-time is 21 year old Irish actor Robert Sheehan (represented by The Lisa Richards Agency) who is currently receiving rave reviews for his performance in E4's new ASBO super-hero drama Misfits.

Originally from Portlaoise, Robert started acting at age 14:
"I fell into it funnily actually, through an open call for Song For a Raggy Boy, in which I got a small part. Then I wanted to carry on acting because of the amazing fun we had, so I acquired an agent (who represented some of the other guys in the film) and carried on doing bits and pieces in TV and film."
Robert appeared as series regular Addison Teller in Rock Rivals. He gave a notable performance as BJ in Channel 4's Red Riding which aired earlier this year.

Next year will be a big year for him, with the anticipated release of Cherrybomb in which he stars alongside Rupert Grint and Kimberly Nixon, and another big-screen outing for him in The Season of the Witch with Nicholas Cage should bring him to the attention of international audiences.

And Screenterrier has already reported on his casting in I was Bono's Doppelganger (with Ben Barnes) which is due to start shooting in Ireland next year.
