Criminal Justice 2

13 year old Alice Sykes (now represented by Troika) from Kent makes her screen debut in Peter Moffat's BAFTA Award-winning Criminal Justice which returns to BBC One for five consecutive nights.

Alice plays Ella, the daughter of Joe Miller (Matthew MacFadyen), a barrister at the height of his professional powers, and Juliet (Maxine Peake) who is fragile and isolated at home. One night Juliet stabs Joe in his bed. Life will never be the same again for the Miller family.

Ella idolises her dad and loves but pities her fragile mother. She becomes ridden with guilt at her father's death believing herself to be responsible, can she find hope and happiness again?

Maxine Peake (Hancock And Joan, Red Riding) leads the cast in this major new five-part thriller which takes an uncompromising and insightful look at our criminal justice system, but this time through the journey of one woman.

Criminal Justice shot earlier this year on locations in and around London
